The Finance Director reports directly to the Executive Director and collaborates with executive team members to align financial and operational objective. This position contributes to LINC’s mission and vision by providing executive level leadership over the financial activities including planning and policy, accounting systems, internal controls, financial management, grant compliance, real estate, and asset management.
Responsibilities (All Details Included in Full Job Description):
Planning and Policy
Oversee all financial functions for the organization, including creating, implementing, and monitoring systems, policies, procedures, structures and processes for internal and external financial controls and requirements.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners.
Develop and oversee the annual budgeting process, working closely with program managers and other stakeholders to develop realistic and achievable budgets.
Create cash investment policies and procedures, to ensure maximum return on excess cash while maintaining liquidity, minimizing risk, and providing reserves for long-term liabilities.
Collaborate with Executive Team to set strategic goals and objectives for the growth and expansion of the organization.
Serve as the lead staff support to the Finance Committee by working with the Executive Director and Finance Committee Chair to set meeting agendas, create meeting packets with relevant information, and ensure that meeting minutes are taken.
