Local employers are looking to hire local talent. LINC UP hosts employers right in our office to interview for local positions and connect with the community for job opportunities. We share a wide variety of connections to employers in the Grand Rapids and Greater Grand Rapids area, as well as across many industries including Healthcare, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Construction and Contracting, and more.
Trainings & Workshops
Confidence on the job begins with a solid foundation of knowledge and experience. LINC UP hosts a variety of events focused on expanding job opportunities through training and educational workshops. Such events include resume workshops, lead abatement trainings, leadership training and more!

Getting connected to employers can be difficult. LINC UP has built a large network between local organizations, employers, and agencies that are all looking to build connections in the community and hire residents with diverse skillsets. Overcoming obstacles to employment requires resources. LINC UP understands the complexities that life can bring and seeks to support those who are unsure if they’re qualified for the workforce. We do this very intentionally with dedicated partners, hosting events that assist with expungement, bench warrants, parenting time, driver’s license restoration, child support and more!
